Nominations are now being accepted for the 2016 Harlandale ISD Hall of Fame.
Every year, the district seeks outstanding alumni who have made great contributions to society and have accomplished many personal and professional goals. Any Harlandale, McCollum or Frank Tejeda Academy student who graduated 15 years prior to the nomination year is eligible. Individuals who have served the Harlandale community can also be nominated. There is no age stipulation for the community service recognition; however, nominees in this category must have served the Harlandale community for at least 10 years outside the realm of their job title. Only current members of the Hall of Fame will be allowed to vote. New inductees will then be honored at a banquet and again at the annual Frontier Bowl.

Harlandale ISD began honoring its distinguished alumni and community supporters in 1985 and has since inducted more than 150 people into its Hall of Fame.
