The Gillette Spur Choir delivered a beautiful performance at the Arneson River Theatre on Nov. 26.

In front of a packed audience, the young performers sang four tunes that led the crowd through different seasons in the year.

The performance kicked-off with a rendition of “America” for the men and women in the armed forces, followed by the popular tune for the Halloween season “Candy Man”, the “Turkey Tango” was next in honor of Thanksgiving and the performance wrapped up with the Polar Express’ theme song “Believe” for the holiday season.

“The Gillette Spur Choir did a great job representing Harlandale ISD, Gillette Elementary, our school Principal Mrs. Jasso, Fine Arts Coordinator Mr. Leos, Superintendent of Schools Mr. Madrigal and Music/Fine Arts/Fun in general,” said Gillette Choir Teacher Dr. Leonardo Zepeda.

A big thank you to the choir and families who gave up a portion of their time during Thanksgiving break to proudly represent Harlandale ISD.
