Harlandale ISD announces graduation ceremonies

SAN ANTONIO – May 15, 2019 – Harlandale ISD announces the graduation ceremonies of the four district high schools, where more than 800 seniors will participate.

“This is the first of many great milestones for our high school seniors,” said Rey Madrigal, superintendent of Harlandale ISD. “These ceremonies are the culmination of the hard work and dedication our students and their families have devoted to get to this moment. It’s a time to celebrate, and we are pleased to celebrate right there with them.” 

Graduation ceremonies for the Frank Tejeda Academy and STEM Early College will take place June 3 at the Laurie Auditorium, One Trinity Place. The Frank Tejeda ceremony will begin at 2 p.m., followed by STEM Early College at 6 p.m.

The graduation ceremonies for McCollum High School and Harlandale High School will be held June 11 and 12, respectively, at the Freeman Coliseum, 3201 E Houston St., at 7 p.m.

All the ceremonies will be approximately two hours long and Harlandale ISD Board of Trustees, Superintendent Rey Madrigal, valedictorians, salutatorians, student leaders and school administrators will participate.

Both locations have plenty of parking for family and friends planning to attend, and law enforcement will be on hand to direct traffic.

Harlandale ISD graduation ceremonies:

Frank Tejeda Academy – Monday, June 3, Laurie Auditorium, 2 p.m.

STEM Early College – Monday, June 3, Laurie Auditorium, 6 p.m.

McCollum High School – Tuesday, June 11, Freeman Coliseum, 7 p.m.

Harlandale High School – Wednesday, June 12, Freeman Coliseum, 7 p.m.
