HISD School Board approves several items during July meeting
The following items were approved by the Harlandale ISD Board of Trustees at its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, July 19, 2010: -2010-11 Student Code of Conduct -Football turf color selection for Memorial Stadium -Purchase and installation of a sound system at Memorial Stadium -Parent Notification System -Occupational & physical therapy services -Purchase and installation of playground structures -Budget amendments to the General Fund and Debt Service Fund -TASB Policy affecting local policies -Policy GE (Local): Relations with Parent Orginazations -Frost Insurance Agency and Midwest Employers Casualty Insurance Company for second and final year of a two-year rate guarantee for the worker’s compensation excess liability insurance -Renewal of worker’s compensation professional services for Sedgwick CMS as the District’s third party administrator under the self-funded worker’s compensation program for a term of two years renewable annually -Safety and Attendance Incentive Program -Athletic/Student Accident Insurance for third and final year for a term of one year thru Bollinger, Inc. and Alamo Insurance Group and underwritten by Monumental Life Insurance Company -Continuation of contractual medical services of Hugo Rojas, MD as the District’s medical consultant for employees and students -Board Meeting Schedule for the 2010-2011 school year. -Tennis Court Reconstruction Project at Harlandale and McCollum High Schools. -Installation of tile on the corridor walls at Harlandale High School The next Harlandale ISD School Board Meeting will take place Monday, August 16 at the McCollum HS cafeteria at 6:15 pm.
