The Adams ES parking lot was packed with low riders, classics, hot rods, imports, domestics, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles and VW’s on April 15. More than 70 vehicles participated in the first annual Watch D.O.G.S. car show.

The family friendly event also featured student performances, face painting and a box car contest for kids.

All proceeds from the event went to the school and to the Adams Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) for future events and student activities.

WATCH D.O.G.S. is a school-based father involvement program that works to promote education and safety.

The main goal is to get fathers involved in their child’s life, especially at school. To be a part of the program, fathers must volunteer at the campus at least one day out of the school year.
