Adams Elementary students are being rewarded for their commitment to education by being named to the Never Been Absent (NBA) Club.

All students who maintain perfect attendance receive a reward at the end of each six weeks if they remain on the NBA list.

“For the first six weeks, the reward is that students will get free play time on the field, on the court and on the playground,” Social Worker Jennifer Montes explained.

Each six weeks the reward is different.

“This year, some of the rewards are chalk it up in the courtyard, snow cone treat, movie and popcorn, and a dance,” Montes added.

Students who maintain a perfect attendance all year long will enjoy the greatest reward at the end of the school year which includes a t-shirt, prizes and fun!

“This is our way of rewarding students who make attendance a priority,” Montes said.
