Carroll Bell students enjoy a tasty lesson

Carroll Bell Elementary Pre-K students recently enjoyed a very special on campus field trip. Instead of leaving campus for a field trip, the Young Chefs Academy visited the kiddos at their natural habitat.

The chefs lectured the students on a thing or two about cooking and soon enough the little ones were mixing flour, rolling dough, spreading tomato sauce, sprinkling cheese and eating their own tasty personal pizza. 

“The kids had a blast,” assistant teacher Jazzmin Mendiola said. “Ms. Tamez, our Pre-K 3 teacher, did a great job on thinking outside the box to get them to our campus.”
