Frank Tejeda Academy engages families in student progress

The Frank Tejeda Academy welcomed students and their families to the first family night of the school year earlier this month.

“The primary purpose of the event was to get families involved and to keep them informed of their child’s academic progress,” FTA faculty member Aide Martinez said.

The family night included a light meal and an opportunity to win prizes by playing Bingo with faculty and staff.

“Everyone present had fun interacting and it was great to spend an entertaining evening together,” Martinez said.

Frank Tejeda Academy plans to schedule future family events and looks forward to forming positive relationships with families to promote and enhance student success on campus.
