Harlandale High School students who are a part of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) organized a clothing drive to help families in need during the holiday season.

The students collected multiple bags and boxes of clothing items such as jackets, pants, shirts, shorts and shoes during the last two weeks. The items were donated to the Harlandale ISD Clothing Closet on Dec. 18.

The drive gave students the opportunity to learn what it means to give back to their community.

“It made me think about what I have and be grateful because there are so many people that are in need,” HHS senior and NTHS president Roland Lozano said. “Just being able to donate has been a real honor, and I really appreciate the opportunity to help people.”

Way to go, NTHS students!
