Harlandale ISD celebrates 42nd Annual Cultural Arts Festival

Hundreds of families across the Harlandale community came together to celebrate "La Voz de Nuestra Cultura" during the 42nd Annual Cultural Arts Festival on April 14.

As is tradition, the festivities began at 8:30 a.m. with a Descendants Ceremony at Mission San Jose followed by the biggest little parade in San Antonio.

The sights and sounds of every float brought excitement and energy to all the spectators. The parade traveled down Roosevelt Avenue and culminated in a big celebration at Memorial Stadium.

At the fair, students from across the district provided entertainment as they sang and danced on the main stage or as part of a choir. The Believe it Foundation also graciously presented a Duet Bicycle to Harlandale ISD.

Guests also had the opportunity to purchase signature festival foods, take part in arts and crafts, walk through an art exhibit, and play several games. The festival also featured free carnival rides for the community.

Thank you Harlandale Family for making this event a success!
