Rayburn Elementary participated in an entertaining ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand re-opening of the Chuck E. Cheese location at 238 S.W. Military Dr. on Nov. 7.

Chuck E. and all of his friends welcomed students, parents and educators for a night full of games, pizza and fun as a way to give back and celebrate the revamped design and arcade.

“This is our way to give back especially to educators and to the students who learn for our future,” Ruben Dietz, field marketing specialist for San Antonio Chuck E. Cheese locations, said. “Chuck E. is all about going forward and educating our kids and that’s why we chose Rayburn Elementary.”

Surrounded by students, Rayburn Elementary Principal Faith Molina had the honor of cutting the “purple” ribbon and thanked Chuck E. Cheese for the invitation.

“I feel very honored and flattered to have been invited,” Ms. Molina said. “Our kids work so hard, so they were very excited to come and have fun!”

Thank you, Chuck E. Cheese!
