ITT Community Challenge

We are excited to announce Harlandale ISD’s participation in this year's It's Time Texas Community Challenge! The statewide challenge is an opportunity for our District to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles among our staff and students and we need your help!

The 8-week competition mobilizes school districts from across the state and determines winners based on a point system. All you’ll need to do is log any time you do something healthy, which can mean drinking a glass of water, going on a walk or eating fruits and veggies during any meal. Every time you log an activity, we get 50 points. This year the Challenge will be taking place from Jan. 8 through March 3, 2024.

How to participate:

    1. Register at www.ittcommunitychallenge.com now until March 3, 2024. Make sure to click YES to School District Challenge (select Harlandale ISD) and include the name of your school. You can leave the campus blank if you are not stationed at a campus.

    2. Download the It's Time Texas app on your mobile device (Click here for iOS or Android). Watch a tutorial on using this new app here.

    3. Earn points by logging your physical activity, uploading selfies and organizing staff healthy group activities, and more.

This is a great opportunity for us to come together as a district and promote healthy lifestyles. Let's show the state of Texas that Harlandale ISD is committed to being healthy and active.
