There will be a familiar face leading Terrell Wells Middle School come the 2024-2025 school year. Jeanine Nepveux, once a student at Harlandale ISD, has now been named the new principal at Terrell Wells Middle School, bringing an exceptional blend of education and administrative expertise to the campus.
This full-circle moment marks a significant milestone in her distinguished career within Harlandale ISD. With more than 25 years in the field, Ms. Nepveux’s background is rich with diverse educational experiences. Before being named principal, she served as the Academic Dean at McCollum High School, where she excelled in supporting teachers, organizing professional development and analyzing data to improve student outcomes. Her innovative approach included creating mentor programs and organizing observation schedules to foster teacher growth and collaboration.
Her journey within Harlandale ISD includes roles as a School Counselor, Assistant Principal, Academic Dean and District Assessment Coordinator. In these capacities, Ms. Nepveux has been instrumental in overseeing various programs, conducting essential teacher evaluations and managing comprehensive assessment programs. Her leadership extends beyond administrative duties, as she has played a pivotal role in coordinating key events like graduation ceremonies and developing master schedules.
