Gillette 4-H

From the 4-H website:  "The mission of 4-H is to provide meaningful opportunities for all youth and adults to work together to create sustainable community change. This is
accomplished within three primary content areas, or mission areas – civic
engagement and leadership, healthy living, and science. These mission
areas reiterate the founding purposes of Extension through agriculture
(e.g., community leadership, quality of life, and technology transfer) in the
context of 21st century challenges and opportunities."

Nereyda Araujo is the sponsor of the 4-H club at Gillette Elementary.    3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students have an opportunity to participate this school year.    The 3rd graders that have joined 4-H meet on Mondays from 3:45 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.  and the 4th and 5th graders meet on Thursdays from 3:45 p.m.. - 4:30 p.m.
