Mrs. Oralia Longoria is the Gillette Teacher of the Year. She states, "When asked why I teach at Gillette - it was simple - Gillette is like a family. As I walk the halls and 'Good morning Ms. Oya' as the little ones say, it warms my heart through and through. I was raised in the Harlandale District and attended many schools within it so you could say I am a prodigy of Harlandale. Thank you to my colleagues for nominating me and believing in me."
