Our HST Teachers and students went above and beyond for Miss Bell last Thursday they decorated her custodian closet door and made posters for her. The STUCO students swept the classrooms and hallway for her. Shout out to Miss Vallejo, Mr. Torres and Ms. Wright, all of their students and STUCO for being so thoughtful to Ms. Bell! She is a treasure!
Harlandale Anime Club attended Big Texas Comicon this weekend! Students along with their club sponsor Naomi Barron had so much fun cosplaying and enjoying the event and all that it had to offer.

Harlandale High School JROTC cadets participated in San Antonio's annual El Grito celebration. The event included live Mexican music, folkloric dancers, and food and craft vendor booths. The event culminated in the "El Grito" civic ceremony which was hosted by the Consulate General of Mexico in San Antonio. There were several prominent city and county leaders that attended the event which included the city mayor (Ron Nirenberg), a city council representative, and county judge (Peter Sakai). The cadet’s performance in the event was flawless; they received many compliments from the audience and the event’s organizers for their outstanding performance.
