McCollum High School

McCollum students at it again!! This time in the art world.  Fatima Abonce, Isabella Pachecano, Samantha Monzon, Antonio Ruiz, and Jaylen Hernandez won the Jovita Idar Art Contest for their individual art work.   They were honored this past weekend at the San Antonio Central Library.  They were presented a medal by members of Jovita Idar's Family and Dr. Tey Marianna Nunn, Director of the Smithsonian's Women's History Initiative.  Special thanks to Mr. Schorp, Mr. Escobedo, and Mr. De La Cruz for pushing our students and getting the most out of them!!
