Greetings Harlandale Legacy,
We hope everyone is having a great school year and you are enjoying seeing the significant impact each of you makes on our students. We would like to take a moment to communicate an upcoming change to the payment schedule of Paper Timesheets for all Extra Duty, Additional Duties, and Substitute assignments on both AESOP and Paper Timecard.
As of January 1, 2025, Extra Duty/Additional Pay submitted on a PAPER timesheet and ALL SUBSTITUTE PAY will follow the attached revised schedule. This change modifies the payment schedule for Substitute Pay and Extra Duty/Additional Pay submitted on a PAPER timesheet for all employees who receive payment on the Bi‐Weekly Payroll Frequency (Auxiliary Employees including Substitutes). At this time there is no change for employees who are paid on the Monthly pay frequency (Teacher, Nurses, Counselors, etc.).
Auxiliary Employees on the Biweekly Payroll Frequency will continue to receive their check on a Biweekly pay cycle; however, Extra Duty/Additional Pay submitted on a PAPER timesheet and SUBSTITUTE PAY will follow the attached revised schedule.
It is important to note that the rate of pay received for extra duty and overtime compensation is not affected by this change. You will continue to receive payment for extra duty and substitute pay at the current pay rates but will receive it on a revised payment schedule. We are confident this change will allow us to streamline our payroll process in compensation for extra duty and substitute pay and will ensure greater efficiency in managing our district’s finances.
As always, Extra Duty and Overtime Hours must be approved by the Campus or Department Administrator BEFORE they are worked.
Attached is a schedule of when you can expect to receive your Extra Duty and Substitute Pay for the remainder of the school year.
