Last week, Harlandale ISD proudly commemorated the culmination of the PASEO program in partnership with Texas A&M University-San Antonio and Community Education Partners. Throughout the program, parents received comprehensive education on supporting their Junior or Senior in navigating the path towards higher education. As a token of appreciation for their dedication, parents who completed the program were awarded a $1,000.00 scholarship for their child's journey at TAMUSA.
Last week at TAMUSA, a formal graduation ceremony was held for the families involved. It was a joyous occasion marked by shared achievements and the promising future ahead for each student.
It was a night of learning, fun and family! Thank you everyone who came out to our District Family Night and made it an absolute blast! Families had the opportunity to learn from guest speakers about important topics such as vaping and social media, take part in activities and gain valuable resources from vendors! Thank you to our Family Engagement Center for hosting such a wonderful event!
We want to recognize our District Teacher of the Year, Mr. David Cruz, on receiving the Excel Award from Credit Human & Kens 5! Mr. Cruz inspires his students every day with his dedication, creativity and passion in the classroom. He was honored with the award and $1,000 for making a difference in the lives of his students!

Leal MS made campus history by bringing home their first-ever Sweepstakes Award.
