Sean, a quarterback for the Hiram College Terriers in Ohio, has thrown more than 200 yards in three consecutive games, the longest streak of his career. He also surpassed 3,000 career passing yards last Saturday, becoming the 10th quarterback in their program history to achieve this milestone. Congratulations, Sean! It's time to get rowdy at the Alamodome! Harlandale ISD Family Day will take place on Saturday, October 28 before the UTSA Roadrunners take on East Carolina!
Family Day festivities will start at noon on the North Plaza of the Alamodome, with trick-or-treating, games and activities for all ages. The 4x4 Halloween Family Pack will include four club level tickets, four hot dogs and 4 drinks/chips for $84.

In honor of Veterans Day, we will be honoring Veterans next Friday, Oct. 27 before the football game at Harlandale Memorial Stadium. The ceremony will take place at 6:30 PM on the track prior to McCollum's homecoming game vs. Brackenridge.
If you or a loved one is a Veteran and would like to take part in the ceremony, please email hisd.communications@myhisd.net no later than Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 4:00 PM so you/they can be added to the list.

Shoutout to Harlandale High School art teacher Noe Garza for being selected to participate in a new project that is being spearheaded by Bishop & Valderas, LLC., Centro Cultural Aztlan, and the U.S. Department of Education!
The project will center around a new Chican@ Art Curriculum in San Antonio. It will bring together Chicano artists, historians, cultural experts, folklorists and educators to develop teaching materials focused on Chicano art, cultural traditions and key moments in Chicano/Mexican-American history. The project will conclude with the End of Year Student Exhibition at Centro Cultural Aztlan in May 2024. Way to represent Harlandale ISD!
