Ms. Ramblas 6th grade honors class recently presented their projects on countries across North and South America. Students researched geography, government, culture, and economy, dedicating time outside of school to create impressive presentations.

Congratulations to this week's HMS attendance winners. ~~~ The new HMS attendance initiative has begun. We will be drawing students names that have great attendance for a chance to earn a gift card; one per grade.
HMS Family!!!! Another resource for you. We know the holidays can be stressful especially with unexpected bills and other emergencies. We want to help carry some of the load with giving out 50 turkeys with a primary focus on disabled veterans/families, Single Parents, and Seniors. Please see the flyer attached for additional information. Tis the season for giving!

Students and parents will have the opportunity to meet with dozens of college representatives and get important information about programs, financial aid & much more. All students are encouraged to attend!

"Good Afternoon BRAVES!!! The Harlandale Middle School JAZZ Band will be having their first ever Fundraiser. The Fundraiser will be at McDonald's, 1643 Pleasanton Rd,
San Antonio, TX 78221, November 20,2024, from 4pm-6pm. The Harlandale Middle School Jazz Band will also be performing at 5pm. We will receive a percentage of all sales during the 2 hour block. So come on out, enjoy some food and hear some live music. Thank you for all your continued support!"

The 6th, 7th, and 8th grades are going head-to-head in a Food Drive to help families in need this Thanksgiving! 🏆
How It Works:
Each grade will compete to bring in the most food donations! The grade with the most donations wins a special prize and bragging rights! 🎉
What We Need:
✨ Canned Goods (corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, etc.)
✨ Stuffing & Instant Mashed Potatoes
✨ Boxed Mac & Cheese
✨ Cake Mixes & Frosting
✨ Gravy, Canned Sweet Potatoes, & More!
Drop-Off Location:

Honoring our Veterans
We invite any veteran in our HMS community, to join our Veterans Day hall parade tomorrow at 3pm. HMS would like to recognize and honor all veterans as part of our Veterans Day observance at Harlandale Middle School.
If you wish to participate, come by the front office, sign-in, and you will be escorted to the start of the hall parade.
